Yes. All our rooms have air conditioning for cooling during the summer months. During the colder seasons, you can adjust the room temperature using the radiators.

All our room rates include a generous buffet breakfast, access to the sauna, parking and Wi-Fi. Electric vehicle charging is available for an additional fee.

We offer complimentary parking for our hotel guests in our parking garage next to the hotel at Pekankatu 9. You can collect a parking permit from reception. The second floor of the parking garage also has plenty of space for larger vehicles, including vans and recreational vehicles

Yes. We have four charging points for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids. A fee applies for EV charging.

Our breakfast includes vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free options. If you have any other allergies or special dietary requirements, our breakfast team will be happy to assist you. Breakfast items are labelled as follows: V = Vegan, VL = Low-lactose, L = Lactose-free, G = Gluten-free and M = Dairy-free.

Yes. Hotel guests can enjoy complimentary access to our sauna every day. The women’s sauna is open from 5 pm to 7 pm and the men’s sauna from 7 pm to 9 pm. You can also book a private sauna session for an additional fee. Please remember to bring a towel from your room. If you prefer a room with a private sauna, book one of our Junior Suites

We do not have a gym at the hotel, but our guests can use the gym at our partner Kunnon Paikka for €5 per visit. The gym is located approximately 100 metres from the hotel.

Our hotel is located approximately 8 kilometres from Rovaniemi Airport. We recommend the following transport options: Airport bus – approximately €8 per person There is no need to book the airport bus in advance. You can pay the driver by credit card or cash. Please check the current timetable before travelling: Airportbus.fi Rovaniemi Airport → Arctic City Hotel The airport bus waits outside the arrivals area after incoming flights. It stops at hotels in Rovaniemi city centre, including Arctic City Hotel. Arctic City Hotel → Rovaniemi Airport For the return journey, the airport bus stops on nearby Ruokasenkatu on its way from Rovaniemi Railway Station to the airport. The stop is approximately 300 metres from the hotel. Taxi – approximately €30 each way Taxis are available at the airport. A journey to the hotel usually costs around €25–30, depending on the day and time. Payment is made directly to the driver by credit card or cash. Advance booking is generally not required, although we recommend pre-booking a taxi for late-night arrivals. VIP private transfer We will also be happy to arrange a private transfer for you. Your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. The transfer must be booked in advance and is paid directly to Arctic City Hotel. Our reception team will be happy to assist with the arrangements.

Arctic City Hotel is pet-friendly, and pets are welcome to stay with us. As we have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms, please let us know in advance if you are travelling with a pet. The pet fee is €15 per night and will be added automatically to your room bill. Pets are also welcome in the hotel lobby and at Bull Bar & Grill at the owner’s responsibility. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in Monte Rosa or in the breakfast buffet area.

Check-in starts at 3 pm. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to check in if your room is already available. However, we cannot guarantee early check-in in advance. If you would like to check in early, please let us know and we will do our best to have your room ready. You can call reception to ask whether your room is available or ask our reception team to let you know once it is ready. If you need guaranteed access to your room before 3 pm, you will need to book the room from the previous night.

Check-out is by 12 noon. If your room is not required for arriving guests, late check-out may be available upon request. Please contact the hotel to check availability. An additional fee applies for late check-out.

Yes. We offer complimentary luggage storage at reception for our hotel guests. Please note that luggage is stored at your own risk.

Our hotel lobby, restaurant and accessible toilet are wheelchair accessible, apart from some small thresholds. Our guest rooms are not fully accessible, as they also have thresholds. The bathrooms do not have accessibility aids or support equipment.

Our Classic Double rooms have bathtubs, so please book this room type if you would like to enjoy a bath during your stay. We also recommend mentioning your preference in the special requests or comments field when making your reservation.

Yes. If you would like to enjoy your own private sauna during your stay, book one of our Junior Suites.

Our reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and support you with all matters related to your stay at Arctic City Hotel.

The riverside, the iconic Lumberjack’s Candle Bridge, Arktikum and Culture House Korundi are all within walking distance of the hotel. Arctic City Hotel is located right in the centre of Rovaniemi, with plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants nearby. Santa Claus Village is less than 10 kilometres away.

The nearest bus stop is located on Ruokasenkatu, approximately 300 metres from the hotel. Both the airport bus and the bus to Santa Claus Village stop there.
