Love is a sustainable, growing and prosperous home.

For us, Lapland is home. For three generations, we have had the privilege of operating in the Arctic, where the unique nature, people and way of life are close to our hearts.

To us, sustainability means making responsible choices for the environment, people and the future of Lapland every day.

Nature and its offerings are often an essential part of a journey to the north, and enjoying them is among the highlights of many visits. In Finland, Everyman’s Right allows everyone to move freely in nature and to pick berries and mushrooms, but it also comes with the responsibility to respect the environment, its peace and quiet, and other visitors.

Move through nature calmly, keep a respectful distance from private properties, and leave each place as pleasant as you would hope to find it yourself. If you bring food, gear or anything else with you, please also take it away, including all waste. In this way, shared rest areas, campfire sites and trails remain enjoyable and well maintained for those who come after you.

Lapland is more than our location; it’s where our family’s heart beats. Over three generations, we’ve been privileged to grow alongside the residents of Rovaniemi and welcome countless guests into our home. Operating within this stunning, unspoiled Arctic region is an honor we hold dearly.

Join us in building a greener future with these simple tips:

  • Recycle Efficiently: Finland’s excellent recycling system allows you to return empty bottles and cans for a refund at grocery stores.
  • Choose Tap Water: Tap water in Finland is not only safe but often superior to bottled water.
  • Mindful Breakfasts: Take only what you can eat for breakfast—20-30% of food often goes to waste.
  • Conserve Linens: Reuse towels and bed sheets to save water and energy.
  • Energy Conservation: Turn off lights and A/C when you leave your room, and limit disposable hotel items.
  • Opt for Public Transport: Use public transportation whenever possible or enjoy our complimentary hotel bikes.
  • Support Local Businesses: Shop at local stores and share your experiences on Google to help fellow tourists.
